Real Estate

Real estate with legal certainty from contract to registration

Transactions, leases and property regularization for companies and investors

A property with pending registration issues, hidden encumbrances or a poorly structured lease can stall an entire transaction. We work so that purchases, sales, leases and regularization happen with complete documentation and known risk.

Our approach

Before signing,
the title record and certificates

Our real estate practice serves companies, investors and owners in transactions that require attention to registration, taxation and liability. The analysis starts with the property's title record (matrícula) and the certificates of the property and the parties, and only ends with the registration of the deed.

In commercial leases, we structure agreements that protect the tenant's location and investment or the landlord's return. In regularization, we handle the administrative and registry procedures that make the property fit to be sold, financed or given as collateral.

Real estate due diligence

Review of encumbrances, lawsuits, debts and restrictions on the property and the parties, with an objective opinion on what must be solved before the deal.

Contract and registration

We follow the transaction through to registration at the real estate registry, the step that actually transfers ownership.

Integration with other practices

Tax, corporate and litigation matters related to the property are handled together with the firm's other practices.
